Boracay Flights By Air - Via Caticlan

There are a number of domestic airlines that have regular flights (some have flights to Boracay every hour) to Caticlan. Domestic airlines that fly directly to Caticlan include Seair and Asian Spirit and more recently Cebu Pacific.  However, some of these flights are about 55 minutes.

Boracay Flights By Air - Via Kalibo

Another alternative route is to fly to Kalibo, Aklan about a 45 minute flight. From the Kalibo Airport, travelers will need to take an hour and a half van or bus ride to the Caticlan Jetty Port.  From there visitors of Boracay will need to take a ferry. Airlines that fly to Kalibo include Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific.

Boracay By Land

The only way to get to Boracay via land is by bus. Travel by bus from Manila can take anywhere from 12-14 hours depending on road and traffic conditions. Philtranco operates a Manila - Mindanao route via the Strong Republic National Highway. Caticlan is a stop on this route.

Boracay By Sea

Boracay is also accessible via a 14 hour trip boat ride year round Manila-Caticlan route. Other operators such as Negros Navigation and SuperFerry provide only seasonal routes, therefore it is best to contact them first for availability and schedules.

** Regardless of the route traveled, all travelers will need to take a 10 minute Banca (motorized outrigger boat) from the Caticlan Jetty Port to the port on Boracay Island. During the rainy / monsoon season it is advised that travelers wear appropriate attire as the boat ride can tend to be a wet one.
